Mrs. Stacie Curry
Teacher 3 Yr old, 3 day & 2 Yr old 2 day classes
Mrs. Stacie Curry graduated from La Roche College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has been leading classrooms (Elementary & Preschool) for the last sixteen years and loves teaching. Mrs. Curry joined Murrysville Presbyterian Preschool in 2014 and not only teaches but also serves as co-registrar. Currently, she and her husband Jonathan live in Plum Borough with their two children. Mrs. Curry loves teaching, making children laugh and seeing their eyes brighten when they learn something new!
Mrs. Christine Hamilton
Teacher Pre-K, 4 day class
Mrs. Christine Hamilton has been with Murrysville Presbyterian Preschool since 2007. Previously, she taught 2nd grade in Ford City, PA and Kindergarten with the Gateway School District. Having taught Kindergarten, gives Mrs. Hamilton a definite perspective for Pre-K students and what they will require for success in the coming years. She and her husband reside in Monroeville with their 2 sons, who currently attending college. Mrs. Hamilton is looking forward to teaching Pre-K at MPP for many years to come.
Mrs. Michelle Krogh
Teacher Pre-K, 3 day & 3 Yr old, 2 day classes
Mrs. Michelle Krogh has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is in her third year at MPP. Mrs. Krogh teaches the two day three year old and the three day Pre-K classes. She lives in Washington Township with her husband and their three young boys, all MPP alum!
Mrs. Renee Lagnese
Aide Pre-K, 3 day class
Mrs. Renee Lagnese graduated from Immaculate Conception high school in Washington, PA. After working as a hairstylist for 14 years, she decided to enjoy the life of a stay-at-home mother of three, all of whom attended MPP. Mrs. Lagnese began working at MPP in 2013 and has loved every day of it since. Her favorite part of being an aide here is seeing the kids learn and grow.
Mrs. Nannette Nutter
Aide 2 Yr old, 2 day & 3 Yr old 3 day classes
Mrs. Nannette Nutter was born, raised, and continues to reside in Export. She graduated from Franklin Regional Senior High School with a license in Cosmetology. Currently she is married and has four children and one granddaughter. Mrs. Nutter has been working for Murrysville Presbyterian Preschool since 1998, aiding in the twos, threes, and pre-K classes and has been a member of First Presbyterian since 1993. Both her son and granddaughter attended MPP and she continues her faith in the program. Mrs. Nutter has enjoyed seeing former students in the community and looks forward to more years in this great program.
Mrs. Jeri Phillips
Aide 3 Yr old, 2 day class
Mrs. Jeri Phillips was raised in Jeannette and currently lives in Murrysville. She graduated from Jeannette Senior High School, received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University and her Master of Arts Degree in Teaching from Chatham University. Currently she is married and has four children who are all enrolled in the Franklin Regional school district. All four of her children also attended Murrysville Presbyterian Preschool. Mrs. Phillips started working for MPP in 2016 as an aide in the two days, 3’s classroom.
Mrs. Ruth Ann Slippy
Mrs. Ruth Ann Slippy has enjoyed the opportunity to share her love for Jesus and His children through the gift of music for several years at MPP. She and her husband Gordon have been married for 30 years. They have five children who have all benefitted from the love and nurturing they received from the staff at Murrysville Presbyterian Preschool. Mrs. Slippy was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA and moved to Pittsburgh to receive her college education in Child Development and Child Care and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She met her husband at Bellefield Presbyterian Church through the Christian fellowship group they attended during their college days.
Through the years Mrs. Slippy has worked with preschoolers and children of all ages most often as a volunteer and in her favorite role as a mom! She has been involved in Community Bible Study for many years, in the past serving as Children’s Director and currently serving as the Teaching Director of the Westmoreland County Day Class.
